Blessed

By the time I was about 6 years old, people besides family began to notice things when I was in their presence. My Grand Mother often sent me to spend time with the Little Sisters of the Assumption who lived in a convent house just a street over from us. The Nuns would bring me into the kitchen for special home-made treat and tea.

Once I was invited to Christmas Vespers with them. They had their altar set up with candles and the Christ-child manger in front. Some of the Sister’s performing the ceremony stood up at the altar and I was allowed to carry the tiny statue of baby Jesus up with a Sister to walk beside me as all the nuns sang in French. It was beautiful and I still remember the light that cast an illuminate shadow over us all in a lovely peaceful glow. As I laid the baby Jesus in the straw, its little eyes seemed to open and it smiled at me.
The Sister’s that were standing at the manger beside me screamed in glee and all started talking in French excitedly. The little statue glistened for a moment as the Sister’s rushed up to look, then laid in the straw, just as it appeared before. They were so excited they forgot what we were doing and took me home to my almost as excited Grand Mother. No-one could explain what had happened except our Savior had shown favor to her Grand-Daughter.

Another time a Sister was visiting us for tea. We were sitting in our living room when she gasped and told my Grand Mother’s to look at me. I was sitting quietly in a wooden chair with my small cup of tea with a brilliant rainbow light essence surrounding my whole body. The Sister said I had a halo... Now today I would call this my aura.
